Trust Accounting

In some instances, forming a trust can be a good way of protecting your assets and can play an important part of your tax and estate planning strategy.

But trusts aren’t right for everyone and a lot depends on your specific circumstances and long term plans.

Once formed, you must appoint Trustees and a Secretary whose obligations include documenting the minutes of meetings (which must be held at least annually), updating the asset and liability registers, ensuring the assets of the trust are maintained and submitting an annual return.

Mallett, Angelo, Quinn chartered Accountants can act as your Trust Secretary or help you to appoint an appropriately skilled person. We’ll oversee your trust management and ensure that you are aware of the current legislative requirements to maintain a legitimate trust and receive the maximum benefits from it.
